The Xerox AltaLink C8230 is a high-volume colour multifunction printer (MFP) designed for, Xerox, C8230
large workgroups, offering print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) for both black-
and-white and colour documents. It features a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 2400
dpi and is equipped with touchless workflow accelerators.
Print Speed: Up to 30 ppm for both colour and monochrome tasks.
First-Page-Out Time: As fast as 5.7 seconds for colour and 4.2 seconds for black-and-white.
Monthly Duty Cycle: Supports up to 90,000 images per month.
Hard Drive & Memory: Includes a minimum 256 GB NVMe SSD (upgradable to 1 TB) and 4 GB of system memory.
Resolution: Delivers up to 1200 x 2400 dpi for printing and up to 600 x 600 dpi for copying.
Standard Capacity: Varies by configuration between 2,180 sheets (Four Tray module) and 3,140 sheets (Tandem Tray).
Maximum Capacity: Can be expanded up to 6,140 sheets with the optional High Capacity Feeder.
Document Feeder: Single-pass Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) with a 130-sheet capacity, capable of scanning up to 161 impressions per minute (ipm) in duplex mode.
Supported Sizes: Handles media up to 12 x 18 inches (SRA3) and custom banner sizes up to 12.6 x 52 inches with optional kits.
Interfaces: Standard connections include Gigabit Ethernet, High-Speed USB 2.0, and NFC for tap-to-pair functionality.
Mobile Printing: Supports Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and the Xerox Print Service Plug-in for Android.
User Interface: Features a customizable 10.1-inch colour touchscreen with tablet-like navigation.
Cloud Integration: Native support for printing from and scanning to cloud repositories like Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive.
Security: Includes AES 256-bit encryption, Configuration Watchdog to ensure compliance with security policies, and TPM 2.0.
Smart Technology: A Smart Proximity Sensor wakes the device when a user approaches to save time and energy.
Finishing Options: Available with various finishers including the Integrated Office Finisher (500-sheet stacker, 50-sheet stapling) and advanced BR Booklet Maker Finishers for saddle-stitch and V-folding.
Optional function: Walkup fax, Xerox integrated RFID P or PI card reader.
